Li Jun Li was born in Shanghai, China. She has lived in Bogotá, Colombia as a child and moved to New York City at the age of nine. She began dancing at a young age, trained in classical Chinese dance, ballet, and contemporary dance.

Heath Calvert has performed on Broadway in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Hair, and Good Vibrations. Other credits: The Public Theater, 2nd Stage, The Studio Theater, O’Neill Theater Center, Barrington Stage, CAP 21, & Ars Nova. As a singer, he has performed Songs from Ridiculously Talented…with William Finn and more than 70 engagements with the Indianapolis, Baltimore, Nashville, Phoenix, National Arts, and Alberta Symphony Orchestras.

“Mistress” is his first main role in a movie.

 

 

Mistress is Anja Murmann’s second short film. Her first short film Wishful Thinking won the first prize at the NYU Student Film Festival in 1991 and the Otto Sprenger Prize in Hamburg, Germany in 1992. Her first feature film Fifteen Months in May won “Best New Director – Special Mention “ at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in 1997.

Anja Murmann is a graduate of NYU film school and lives in New York with her three children.

Sabine Schenk is a Producer / Line Producer based in New York. She completed her M.A. in cinema studies from NYU in 1992. She was an event coordinator at the Berlin Int’l Film Festival for three years. In 1998 she founded her own company, Schenk Productions, Inc., offering production services for local and international film and media projects in New York and throughout the United States. She works as a line producer in New York. Among the many projects she has worked on, she co-produced the documentary “Ferry Tales” which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2004 and did the NY shoot for “The Reader” in 2008. Recently she has line produced the 5-episode documentary tv series “Backroads” by Katja Esson, the NY shoot for Me & Kaminski by Wolfgang Becker and the NY shoot for the feature film Hannah Arendt by Margarethe von Trotta.

A native of Hong Kong, Radium Cheung(迎風)had always been a filmmaker at heart. Though a published photographer at 18, he took a detour and spent the next 15 years in the US working on many acclaimed motions pictures including BLUE VALENTINE, MARGIN CALL, RABBIT HOLE. he has served as Director of Photography and Co-Producer on internationally acclaimed STARLET with Dir Sean Baker, garnering various awards around the globe. he then lensed feature film LOITERING WITH INTENT with prolific American writer/director/novelist Adam Rapp, due for international release early 2015; collaborated with fellow cinematographer Richard Rutkowski on popular Dreamworks/FX TV series THE AMERICANS; his forth collaboration with director Sean Baker on feature TANGERINE; and currently on location filming new feature BLOOD STRIPE.

Dario has been an Editor for over 23 years and for the last 6 years he has also been a Freelance Colorist. He has worked on a wide variety of diverse and challenging projects including; feature length films; short films; 30 second commercials; and documentary series.  As a Editor his clients include AMC, Sundance Chanel, IFC, NFL Network, Mandalay Media, A&E, Food Network, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, SyFy and TruTV.  More recently Dario has been Editor and Colorist on commercials for the Blue Man Group, the Honest Company and Visa Rush Card.  As Colorist he has graded three feature films; ”Failing Better Now”, “Kilimanjaro” and “X/Y”.  In addition, he has been Colorist on documentaries for HBO, PBS and Rolling Stone Films.

Lois Drabkin is a casting director and producer in New York City. Her film credits include recent Sundance Film Festival premieres of The Missing Person, Night Catches Us, Restless City and Listen Up Philip, and the New York casting on Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds. Additional credits include numerous independent features, and the upcoming Showtime documentary series, Years of Living Dangerously, which includes celebrity and journalist correspondents investigating different issues related to climate change. Lois has also worked as an Associate on such projects as: Phillip Noyce’s Salt, Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, Ang Lee’s Taking Woodstock, Michael Mann’s Public Enemies, and the acclaimed HBO Series The Wire. As an independent producer, her credits include The Missing Person, Weakness and Glass Chin, which is currently in post-production.

Angela Wendt designs costumes for Film,TV,Theater and Opera. Here is a partial listing of her work: Theater: Most recently she designed the “Mutilated” by Tennessee William featuring Mink Stole and Penny Arcade, “Cabaret” directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge at the Repertory Theater of Saint Louis. Her Costume design of the groundbreaking Broadway Musical RENT changed the look of of musical theater and garnered her many awards and nominations, most notably the Hayes Design Award. She designed the World premiere of the Opera A Flowering Tree by David Adams directed by Peter Sellers. The feature film “The Audition” directed by Matt Herron and the Emmy Award winning TV Series “We are New York”. Angela also designs costumes for commercials and music videos, and is currently an adjunct professor for Costume Design at Pace University.

Cassis B. Staudt studied music at the highly selective Hamburg Music University and symphonic orchestration at Juilliard in New York.

Cassis scored the documentary ‘Einzelkaempfer’ (‘I will not Lose’), which premiered at the 2013 Berlin Film Festival and the award-winning feature Die Boxerin/About A Girl amongst others.

She also scored the Oscar-nominated short doc ‘Ferry Tales’ as well as came up with the idea for the film.

Playing the accordion/piano and singing, Cassis fronted the band b-blush, which featured the renowned drummer David Cossin (Sting/Bang on a Can All-Stars). b-blush released several CDs, performed regularly in New York and often toured Europe and Mexico. As Rolling Stone said, b-blush takes “pop to new places”.

Always learning, Cassis was recently selected for a BMI-sponsored film music master class with Rick Baitz. She also won a full scholarship for the prestigious residency of Atlantic Center for the Arts where she continued her film music studies with master artist Paul Dresher.
